#3 - Take Initiative
Being in leadership requires that we often make decisions that are difficult or unpopular. Perhaps it's the results of our decisions that we dread the most, but we realize that we have to do what's best for the organization.
Instead of waiting, or shifting, or making delayed decisions, it is best to fully embrace the challenge by taking the initiative to make things happen. Doing this will accelerate progress and encourage those under us to be proactive even in their problem-solving skills.
