The way leaders can affect people comes in many different forms. People lead based on their experience. Some lead based on their skill level. Still others lead based on their ability to affect others. Brett Favre is one such leader.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback announced this morning that he is officially retiring from football after having played 17 seasons. His ability to motivate and lead others was felt by his team all over.
“The uniqueness of Brett Favre — his personality, charisma and love of the game — undoubtedly will leave him as one of the enduring figures in NFL history.”
Whether it's in sports, politics or the boardroom, when you spend a significant amount of time with a person, you grow to learn and respect them in ways that make indelible marks and footprints in your memories. No doubt that Brett's effects as a leader will be felt for a long time.

I saw the news: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,334811,00.html , When I saw it, I am really surprised and sad. Brett has given us 17 years of awesome football. One of his fans's book tells it: http://dealstudio.com/searchdeals.php?deal_id=88465&ru=279 , Now I think he can have a lot of time for his family. May he have as much happiness in his future as he has given us. God Bless Brett and his family. Thank You Brett!!! I'll miss you!
