His former trainer, Brian McNamee, says he did.
Did what? That would be injecting Roger Clemens with steroids and human growth hormones in an effort to enhance his professional performance in major league baseball.
But, which one of them is telling the truth?
In a report that was released in December, naming names of several famous and now questionalby high-talented baseballball players, Roger Clemens name was one of the most controversial that topped the list. Pre-Mitchell Report, there were speculations and rumors circulating that perhaps some of the players, current and retired, had possibly used performance-enahncing drugs to spike their career. Some were embarassingly named in the report since most had vehemently denied having ever used "those" drugs. And, in Roger Clemens' case, not only is his actions called into question, but so are those of his trainer that he once called friend.
