The cliche, "you get what you pay for", can translate into so many areas of life and business that it's well worth taking heed to also when you're in leadership. There is essentially the idea that the quality of value is attached to anything, tangible or intangible, that has direct correlation in driving up the price or "value" of something and also driving the customer's perception as well.
In today's society, we attach a kind of label to people in terms of their ability to create change. It's done frequently with with entertainers, politicians, religious leaders and community leaders. We gauge their ability to affect the masses based on the way that people respond to them, whether that is negative or positive.
In any business where there is a product given or a service provided, the value of that business is driven by the way the CEO, manager or leader of that business interacts with its customers. It is of vital importance that the perceived value of the business is communicated by the leader of that business. This is where the true mission of the corporation can be seen and where customers can actually "see" what it is that their advertising. Value is driven by leaders. If they don't value what they have, why should anyone else?

Hi, nice post.
Not only they have value and they must share their value, they must show it with much passion and excitement, that's how the value can be contagious, being passed to the others.
Leader must have value and must be able to influence others to have the same value.
Regards,
Robert
