Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions are largely responsible for global warming (the greenhouse effect) and with no signs of other energy-burning sources on the horizon, emission utility plants are expected to increase and worsen.
One of the greatest concerns that CARMA, an organization that studies and reports on the carbon emissions of more than 50,000 power plants and 4,000 power companies in every country on Earth, has is properly and effectively educating consumers and industries of the short and long term effects of these emissions. According to their studies and research, it would be advantageous for mankind to reduce total CO2 emissions by at least 80% by 2050.
Although many factors contribute greatly to emission-producing gases with coal, oil and natural gas industries, it seems that the race is on to see just how many plants can be built to support their production. With increasing populations come increasing industries to support these populations which cause further CO2 emissions. It’s like a never-ending cycle. And though the
