Someone Else's Leader

Yesterday I talked about my dad and how his quiet leadership has made a difference in my life. Today, I want to talk about how I am thankful for that leadership. This time of the year at Thanksgiving, we think about all the things we are thankful for and we tell the people in our lives how we are thankful for them.

Take a moment, just a brief moment, to reflect on the things you are thankful for and the people you are thankful for. Are there any strong, confident leaders in your life who have made a difference to you? What about a teacher, a minister or a neighbor? True leaders make an impact and leave a mark that carries on even after they're gone.

Perhaps you may not have a leader like this in your life. Maybe no one stands out. If you do not, you can become that leader. Become that role model, that strong leader, that confident person. Becoming a leader with strength and confidence can serve as someone else's reason for having a leader in their lives.

Become that leader TODAY.
