Much of the news these past few days circulates around the death of Anna Nicole Smith. While she was quite provocative in life, her persona seems almost greater now in the past couple of days.
She's not the only one we seem to watch.
Brittany Spears, Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and a host of other celebrities seem to be the focal point of many American's lives.
Why is that? Why do we watch Entertainment Tonight, and read People magazine, and the other grocery check-out line tabloids?
Personally, I believe it's because we don't have a life.
Actually we do have a life, but we think the lives of celebrities are more interesting. I beg to differ.
Think for a moment about yourself. You have a unique personality, a personalized set of life experiences, individual gifts, incredible natural abilities, and a life in which to use them.
The unique person you are in no way pales in comparison to the celebrities we're drawn to. They get more exposure and probably have more money than you.
Big Deal!
Take some time this week to appreciate the celebrity YOU are! Use your unique talents, gifts, personality, and experiences to build up those around you. If you want celebrity in your life, this is the quickest way to get it. The best part is that you'll be helping others in the process.
Not telling you what to do, just offering a suggestion!

Enjoy being positive with the group that i am in charge
of. By being helpful, encouraging and acknowledging of
the work they do, the day to day operations improve;
also people's attitudes and work habits. We accomplish
so much because we work together and i am the "first
among equals" kind of attiude. Things just seem to fall
in place when you help other people feel good about
themselves. i am enjoying the "leader notes!"
