Organization skill here ... is to problem-solving ... a bit like a second canoe oar is to the first paddle. Without organization, so-called-solutions tend to swirl you in circles, and eventually will take your organization down.
While people often think of logical mathematical intelligence as best resource for organization – it’s also true that fast changing markets use organization tactics located in their creative right brain cache. So how can these benefit your business?
No question, if you’re a wing-it-type-person, you won’t find highly developed organization strategies in your right brain storerooms…. Nevertheless, you will find rich resources you likely didn’t know you carry in to work daily. And since the brain reshapes itself by what we do daily, you can benefit from one action plan that will organize even one part of your day. How so?
Do one tactic to organize … and you also rewire your brain for the next, thanks to the your right brain’s plasticity to develop organizational acumen .
You may already know that your right hemispheric functions control the entire left side of your body. But did you know that the right brain also brings a few competitive edges to your workplace …because it helps you to:
1). Solve stubborn problems by combining facts…images…and ideas others offer… to lead the group with better solutions…, much the way Oprah did in her latest brilliant African school project.
2). Process new ideas and throw in spontaneous answers to complex problems… the kind that lift eyebrows in a discussion… as Elliot Spitzer did when he took on Wall Street corruption.

Even if you lack dominant right-brained or creative tendencies, you can still access skills from your brain’s creative right hemisphere… for organization that leaves competition at the gates.
